Week 2: Digital Text & Visual Design

For this assignment I decided to make an infographic to go with the learning objective "Identify different elements of five-paragraph essays." The colours I chose were simple and also matching the overall theme of my portfolio. I organized the information into separated sections so that each point would be clearly distinct from the others, without unnecessary information or distracting graphics. 

The infographic was designed so that it would be easy to read on a computer or so that it could be printed and posted on a wall if a student needed. The background was left white and the text black for the main information so that there was the most amount of contrast for visually impaired students. I chose a standard font to also increase readability.
